Who am I and why am I here…

I am an experienced project, task, and operations manager that has worked with global organizations across a wide variety of industries and verticals, and a PROUD QUEER WOMAN OF COLOR. Fitting in the corporate world wasn’t a great experience for me, and I found after over a decade that I was much happier on my own, even if I was risking financial instability in exchange for my mental and emotional well-being.

Once I embarked on my own as a freelancer and consultant, I realized that the systems and online softwares (SaaS) that big businesses were using to manage their large demand as efficiently and cheaply as possible were readily available for free or very affordably, but not many small businesses were taking advantage. Why? Largely because systemic gatekeeping has kept most of this knowledge and information accessible to only a few (want to know more about how? Check out the video on my homepage!)

These systems making big businesses run smoothly and efficiently could easily be used to make small businesses competitive in any market! Think of all the free time you could have to talk to your customers, or to engage with your social media following, or to research products for your brand, or even to make your products, if you could only have technology do the administrative tasks for you!

But when I spoke to my community about it, the question most people asked was: how do I access these systems? which ones are the best for me? and how do I connect or automate them so I am taking tasks off my plate but still meeting my business’ needs?

The answer is a little bit of research, ingenuity, and a lot of creative problem solving.

That’s where I come in.

I built this page to connect with small and budding business owners and organization leaders, and to share my expertise and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I will continue to update this page with free resources and hacks as well as be available for more direct, personalized help with my consulting services to help our community build the kind of social and human capital from which we are often excluded.

If you have any ideas about the kind of content you’d like to see, resources that you would find useful, or if you have a resource you think I should share, comment on this post or contact me directly!

I can’t wait to build this community <3
